We want to welcome you to our Youth Wrestling website.
During the summer of 2008 the we started compiling a listing of the youth wrestling clubs within the state of Nebraska. We scoured the various wrestling organizations websites, email traffic and tournament listings to get a fairly complete listing. During the summer of 2009 we expanded our listing to start including youth wrestling tournaments hosted in Nebraska and those that are close to the state. In early 2011 multiple friends in the state of Iowa asked that I start covering Iowa, so we expanded. Expanded is an understatement!! We are going all in!!
We are looking for volunteers from every state to help us. Someone with organizational and computers skill just barely above that of a kindergartener, someone with the gun-ho dedication and unwavering desire to better youth wrestling as a whole. Our goal is to provide support for youth wrestling as a whole. The Youth Wrestling Club listing and the Event listings is our little way of helping make information easier to find.
We will try and keep this site neutral to clubs and organizations. We will provide the same services to any club or organization that desires included in our club or events listings. However we will give extra support to certain organizations and tournaments we deem important to the growth of a wrestler and the general well-being of the sport. An example of this is using USA Wrestling's www.themat.com and AAU Wrestling' www.aauwrestling.net for news or highlighting an event or supporting special events.
